My favourite sport is baseball. You play baseball on (1) a field with (2) a little white ball, called a baseball. You hit the ball with (3) a long bat. There are two teams with nine players. One team throws and catches the ball. The other team hits the ball.

There are four bases: first base, second base, third base and fourth base. When a player hits the ball they run round the bases. When they arrive at fourth base they get a run. The winning team is the team with more runs at the end of the game.

My favourite sport is basketball. You play basketball with (4) a big orange ball. There are two teams with five players. Both teams try to get points by throwing the ball into (5) a basket, which is 3 metres above the floor.

You can throw, run and bounce the ball, but you can't run and carry the ball at the same time. The winning team is the team with more points after 40 minutes.
